Transition Management
At Penserra Securities our view of transition management is quite simple and we follow three basic tenets: be faithfully client focused, thorough planning is everything, and always communicate effectively. Our experienced Transition Management team has provided institutional clients with innovative and comprehensive interim portfolio solutions since the late 1990’s. Before a transition begins, Penserra works with you as an advisor to find the best custom solutions to meet your needs. As your advisor we provide solutions beyond trade execution services. Penserra will work with your custodian, prime broker, and asset manager to find a seamless interim solution with the objective of capital preservation until a long-term solution is found. As a broker, we will leverage our deep experience in execution services and transaction cost analysis to effectively restructure your portfolio in such a way that controls risk and reduces implementation costs.
At the completion of the transition event Penserra provides a completely transparent measurement of the performance and cost associated with a transition. Equally as important we believe that initial expectations should be compared against the real world outcome. As such Penserra works diligently to measure and explain the realized performance of the transition event to the pre-transition forecast of trading cost. The Firm believes that the best method for providing complete transparency of transactions in post-trade reporting is to follow the guidelines set forth in the T Standard. The T Standard is a set of guidelines created by Russell Investment Management to provide full disclosure of performance measurement using a set of standardized rules. Penserra continues to be a strong advocate for the use of the T Standard and has provided commentary Russell Investment Management on ways to improve the standards and further champion their use within the transition management industry.
